Lovely Little Ladies ♡ Frisco – Plano child & family photographer

I met the Hooper family for the first time at our sunrise family session in Plano last weekend. These two little girls are as sweet as can be. Little sister is a total daddy’s girl and big sister was a natural in front of the camera. We got some fantastic family shots, but I did not want to post one of those in case they want to use one for Christmas cards. I am looking forward to sharing the rest of their portraits with them. Thanks for a fun time Hoopers!

This family is another that we know from the girls’ preschool. My middle daughter Chelsea is pretty keen on Sam and says he is one of her best friends. I think the feeling may be mutual, after talking to Sam’s parents. I had a ball during our session and it reminded me how much I love doing portraits with preschoolers. They are such pure little beings and they will tell you exactly what is on their mind. These two did great and that earned them a trip to “Chunky Cheez-its” afterward. :)

I know this family through my daughters’ preschool. We had our session bright and early last weekend. The kids were troopers as we trekked around the park to different spots. I even enlisted Jacob’s help to hold my diffuser to block the light at one point. They did a great job (and so did their parents ;)). Thanks Pauls!

Boys will be Boys ♡ Bedford family & child photographer

As the mom of three girls, I am always interested in doing boy/brother portraits. I love the chance to see how different (or the same) they are to girls/sisters. These two truly represented the craziness that is “boy.” I really have been looking forward to our session because I knew they’d be up for the challenge of getting to our location — a creek that runs through a city park. For most people, the creek is not easy to climb down to. Of course, the boys had no problem. Thankfully no one fell in the water!

I had my first early morning session with these sweet sisters. The sun wasn’t even over the horizon when they hopped out of the car and I heard “hoorays” coming from them. I couldn’t have asked for better *models*! I discovered that early morning sessions are the way to go in the hot Texas summers: 80° instead of 100+° and NO mosquitos!
